The homework that is due tomorrow is your famous person presentation (if it is your day) and also a vocabulary list created for Chapter 2. This list is found on page 85 of your textbook.

(Today we received a Famous Latino project. You need to make a one minute presentation about your famous latino (the one you have chosen and had approved by me). Also, provide two pictures. Due: 10/29).

If you have not made a chapter one vocabulary list, you need to do that. We have a quiz over the vocabulary found in chapter one on 10/23. All of the vocabulary for the chapter is found on the last page of the chapter which is page 53.

Some students find that making flashcards helps them to study. If you have been neglecting studying, you should start studying right now. Studying only the night before will not be enough.

I recommend that you are practicing for 30 minutes 4 times a week. You can read over your old assignments, read over notes that you have taken, or read the textbook. Saying things out loud is good practice too.

The homework for tonight is a green sheet. It has sentence activities on one side and a number crossword on the other.

Tonight's homework is found on page 508 of your textbook. You are to do the whole page.

Please use your class time wisely. Thank you to those of you who do this. If you are one of the students that I have asked more than once to get to work, please note that this will count against you in your participation grade.

Also, stay in your assigned seat, unless we have an activity that requires us to get up and move around. And, for the fourth time, finish your food and drink before class.

Today we wrote poems in class. A model poem is on page 42 of the textbook. Instructions for how to write a poem about yourself can be found on page 50 as well. A final copy plus a prewrite of some sort is due next class.

Our next quiz is 10/15. It will be on regular conjugation of regular AR verbs. The only AR verbs elligible to be used are:

tocar

These are found on page 53 of the textbook. That is where our chapter one vocabulary can be found. The verbs are also featured within our notes and are used throughout the chapter.

We received a pink packet which reviews many of the things we have covered so far. It is due 10/7.

The homework today was to finish the color art that we started together (green construction paper, gluing on pictures, labeling them in Spanish using colors).
